I’ve been running for some time now, but I can still remember the worst part of my early running days  and why I almost gave it up. For me the worst part of running were the shin splints. Unfortunately, even if you are an experience runner and have never had shin splits, you will most likely get them at some point. During one of my first long runs, I experienced chaffed nipples, and the worst was not using the toilet before my runs. This last one can lead you to do things that you would normally not do, like us a public porta potty on a hot day. If you’re just starting out on your own journey pounding the pavement or treadmill belt, here are things you should know about running.
